Update your Pen Publishing Interactive SmarterMail POP e-mail settings in Microsoft Outlook following these simple steps.

1. In Outlook on the top left click FILE.
   
   
2. Next click 'ACCOUNT SETTINGS' and 'ACCOUNT SETTINGS' again from the subsequent drop down.
   
   
3. On the Account Settings screen find and CLICK the e-mail account you will be updating settings for.
   
   
4. Next click the REPAIR link.
   
   
5. In the next window make sure the e-mail address is for the account you are trying to update.
6. Click ADVANCED OPTIONS to get additional options.
7. Check the LET ME REPAIR ACCOUNT MANUALLY box then click REPAIR.
   
   
8. Next under the INCOMING MAIL settings make the following changes:
   
   SERVER: mail.ppi.net
   PORT: 995
   ENCRYPTION METHOD: SSL/TLS
   
   
9. Click the OUTGOING MAIL link to expand the settings options and make the following changes:
   
   SERVER: smtp.ppi.net
   PORT: 587
   ENCRYPTION METHOD: STARTTLS
   
   
10. You will see an 'Account successfully repaired' dialogue, click DONE.
